Andrea Houck is a seasoned interior designer known for creating soulful, story-rich homes that reflect the lives and values of the people who live in them. With a background in art direction and over 25 years of experience, Andrea brings a refined eye, an intuitive process, and a deep commitment to every detail—making her a trusted partner for clients who want to fall in love with where they live.
Andrea’s love for design began early. Raised in a small town near Hickory, North Carolina, she grew up surrounded by the craftsmanship of her grandmother, who painted decorative furniture for Drexel Heritage. She still remembers pointing out—at the age of four—that her bedroom wallpaper had been installed upside down. That early instinct has guided her ever since.
Today, Andrea leads a boutique team based in Washington, D.C., offering full-service design and project management with a signature blend of beauty, functionality, and emotional depth. She stays current with the latest in home technology, performance materials, and design innovation—not just for the sake of trend, but to ensure each space is built to last and live beautifully.
She is a regular attendee of High Point Market, participates in designer show houses and home tours for inspiration, and remains actively engaged in the design community. Her work has been featured in Elle Decor, Flower Magazine, The Washington Post, and Home & Design, among others.
