The final layer is where a home truly comes together. Thoughtful styling adds warmth, balance, and comfort, transforming a well-designed space into one that feels lived in and complete. Each piece is selected with intention, ensuring the finished home feels inviting and tasteful. Explore more of our approach on our blog.
Every project begins with careful consideration of materials and finishes that will shape how a space looks and feels. From textures and tones to subtle details, these early selections help us define the direction of the design and ensure the final result feels cohesive, and personal.
This foundational step allows us to create spaces that truly support the way our clients live. Learn more about our design process on the creating spaces blog. Link in bio.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a bright, hopeful new year.
This Capitol Hill dining room brings an updated take on classic Southern style. With clients who love gardening, we knew the design needed to reflect their passion for florals while still honoring the history of their row house.
We matched the home’s existing gold-toned grasscloth in the hallway and wrapped it around the dining room, then added a complementary floral-patterned grasscloth on the accent wall to deepen the garden-like palette. Velvet and raw silk dining chairs introduce soft, blossomy tones, while a green Murano glass mirror and a floral painting by Atlanta artist Susie Pryor add color and charm.
It’s a space that feels warm, personal, and welcoming—perfect for the holiday season and gatherings throughout the year.

For this Bethesda dining room, the design started with a wallpaper—specifically, a deep-red Zoffany paper embossed with a gold flower motif. It set the tone for a bold, worldly aesthetic our longtime clients were excited to embrace.
We furnished the space with eclectic pieces in warm wood tones, from a Century table with an ebony inlay to a textile geometric-floral host chairs paired with woven side chairs. Instead of a traditional chandelier, we hung a cluster of hammered-iron pendants that cast a beautiful, moody glow in the evenings. A sculptural bar cabinet completes the room and keeps entertaining effortless.
This dining room proves that drama can feel just as inviting as tradition.
