Our clients knew the spaces in their vintage split-level home felt off-kilter, filled with furnishings that didn’t fit the scale or impeded flow. They asked us to provide functional, stylish solutions.
Our lower-level makeover included reimaging the fireplace, installing the built-in aquarium that the husband had always wanted, and remodeling a bathroom. We divided the open recreation area into zones for watching TV, playing games or casual dining, and viewing activity in the new fish tank. We also created a whimsical, pink playroom for the couple’s then-toddler daughter.
“Andrea did a fantastic job transforming our basement into a warm, cozy space that is pleasure to hang out in. Her choice of colors and lighting created a warm and inviting space where little natural light can reach. The flooring is warm and rich. The wall colors are light yet warm, and the adjustable recessed lighting creates soft moods suitable for TV watching or a brightly lit space for working and reading. I am very pleased with Andrea’s creative eye and her choice of skilled craftsmen to complete our basement.”
