After purchasing a waterfront condominium at The Wharf, our clients asked for help establishing a clean, cohesive look befitting the building’s contemporary architecture.
We repurposed a few existing furnishings and added new pieces to take the design in a more contemporary direction. We also designed bespoke pieces specifically to fit the space and meet the owners’ needs. Special design moments—from the living area’s textured, blue-hued feature wall to the dining area’s glamorous, glass-globe chandelier—bring personality while honoring the stunning view.
Enhancing livability was a key goal. Under our plan, an under-used den became a hard-working home office. To maximize space, we commissioned a two-person, Parsons-style desk to tuck inside an alcove. Given their bright and sunny setting, our clients requested hotel-style blackout curtains for each bedroom; we designed operable panels that are both practical and pretty.
The DC waterfront served as a font of inspiration for this condo redesign that seamlessly marries form and function.
“Thanks, Andrea. Everything you have done for us looks great. We are looking forward to the next phase of the project!”
