An empty-nest couple wanted to imbue their Capitol Hill row house with a classic yet fresh style that would honor both the home’s history and their Southern roots—and knew Andrea and our team would be up to the task.
We enlivened the home’s traditional bones with feminine yet sophisticated florals and unexpected shades of lavender. An embroidered-silk fabric featuring delicate foliage and butterflies, earmarked for the living room’s window treatment, served as the design springboard for the entire garden-inspired project (which was featured, appropriately, in Flower Magazine). In the reimagined spaces, treasured antiques mingle with new finds that temper the formality.
The welcoming interiors provide the perfect backdrop for frequent soirees, where Southern hospitality is always on full display.
“Andrea you’re a magician. The things you have accomplished in my historical row house are truly magical. Thank you for everything!”
